Cyber Monday Fitness Deals: Peloton, Rower, Adjustable Dumbbells, Outdoor Gear and More - Buy Side from WSJ

This year’s Cyber Monday sales are filled with high-quality, in-demand fitness gear and apparel that can refresh your current exercise routine or jump-start a new one. You’ll want to put these deals in your cart now before they sell out; brands with big discounts include Bowflex, Therabody, Girlfriend Collective, Osprey and more. Check back here often; we’ll update this list as more deals emerge.

You don’t need a dedicated home-gym space with this six-in-one Bowflex system with adjustable kettlebell weights from 8 to 40 pounds—it takes up just 8.8 by 7 inches of space. Pros tell us it’s easier to use than many similar versions, and you get a year of free access to the JRNY fitness app for trainer-led classes and virtual coaching. Get it now, while it’s marked down 40% off the list price.

Now is the time to buy these adjustable-weight dumbbells while they’re at the second-lowest price we’ve seen this year. The SelectTech 552 is the top pick in Buy Side’s testing for best for general strength training, as the weights have all the features you need and are the easiest to set up and use right out of the box. They’re often priced at $440, so this is a great deal.

What better way to soothe your sore muscles than by beating them up? Athletes of all sorts swear by the percussive action of Therabody’s products, and the Theragun Elite makes an excellent gift for someone who has everything. In addition to the base unit, the set includes five attachments and a carrying case, making it easy to take the whole kit to the gym, the court or anywhere else you or your recipient might need relief. One of our editors has been using the compact Theragun Mini for a year and finds the three speed settings to be enough for shoulder knots and the like, and it can make a good gift for a loved one who travels. Buy it while it’s marked down more than $60.

Use code CYBER2022 for 25% off at Gaiam.

Gaiam, one of the biggest names in yoga gear, is offering 25% off across its entire site through Nov. 21. Among our top picks from the brand are this 2-pack of yoga blocks and the Total Balance Ball Kit, both recommended in our guide to building your home gym. Another standout from Gaiam is our favorite lower-price yoga mat. The under-$25, double-sided mat is substantially cushioned and comes with a carrying strap, we noted in our roundup of the best yoga mats.

Mountain bikers and long-distance cyclists take note: This is the lowest price we’ve seen on Amazon for this men’s Osprey Syncro and one of the lowest we’ve seen on this women’s Osprey Sylva pack. Amazon has dropped prices on a bunch of Osprey hydration packs in various sizes and styles. These are both marked down 29%, and we like that they’re made by a brand known for quality packs; one of our editors hikes weekly with an Osprey with a hydraulics reservoir and vouches that it’s incredibly comfortable. These come with all the pockets and panels you would expect plus a LidLock helmet carry.

The Step might not look like much, but it’s an essential piece of home gym equipment, according to the experts we’ve spoken to. This platform-and-block system adds height (and therefore challenge) to your aerobic workouts. It’s on sale right now for one of the lower prices we’ve seen it this year, so whether buying for your own home gym or someone else’s, this deal is very appealing.

If you’ve been hesitating to buy a rower, the $500 markdown on the Hydrow Rower may be a motivating factor. This rower uses an electromagnetic drag mechanism for a smooth, nearly silent experience, and fans note that its smart design, cushioned seat and upright storage make it a worthwhile purchase. If space is at a premium in your home, you’ll appreciate that the Hydrow Wave Rower is 30% smaller and lighter but still supports up to 375 pounds—and it’s $150 off during the Cyber Monday sale. A $38 a month membership gets you daily, live workouts plus 4,000-plus on-demand workouts that include yoga and Pilates. (If blending with your décor is more important than a discount, know that Hydrow recently released the Hydrow Wave in River, Forest, Sunrise and Sunset colors. For a more old-school style, the WaterRower wooden rowing machine has a loyal following.)

This price on the classic Peloton Bike is the lowest we’ve seen it, even lower than we clocked it during Amazon’s Prime Early Access Sale in October, when it was marked down $220. Now at $300 off you can feel good about purchasing if you’re been waiting out the hype around this bike for a super-discount.

Girlfriend Collective is known for its size-inclusive activewear made with recycled materials—and right now you can get 35% off sitewide. The brand’s Compressive High-Rise Leggings made our list of the best leggings for working out. Right now, the pair, which comes in three lengths and seven colors (we like Plum and Midnight), is on sale for $51.

Fans rave about the high comfort level of these leggings for hiking or just everyday wear—and you can pick up a pair for 60% off during During Lands’ End’s sale. Stretchy, supportive but not tight, a big factor in its comfort is the wide waistband and lack of side seam, so you get a smooth silhouette and there’s no chafing. The material boasts UPF 50 sun protection and these leggings, which come in Black and Navy, are machine washable.

I own the women’s version of these low hikers—now 30% off and less than I paid!—and they’re not just great for my hikes in the Catskills, they help me travel lighter on vacations when I don’t want to pack my larger, heavier hiking boots. These are comfy like sneakers for the airport and walking city streets—yet the also boast Oboz’s high-quality construction that supports you striding across rough terrain.

Janji’s 25% sitewide sale is on and if you’re a runner, cyclist or outdoor enthusiast, this cap has it all: It repels rain, boasts UPF 50 sun protection and is constructed of unlined stretch fabric so it fits securely. Janji notes it’s made with 91% recycled polyester, but the thing we really love is the ingenious side-panel zip pocket for your keys, cards or cash, so you don’t have to wear a running belt or belly bag.

This rain jacket is made for performance with a lightweight, windproof, fast-drying fabric, a dropped-back hem for muddy runs plus major venting for breathability—and it’s marked down to a nice price at Janji. The attention to detail makes the jacket an even better buy: A zipper garage prevents chin scratching and an inset mesh sleeve in one of its two zipper hand pockets secures your phone and reduces bounce. Fans note that it packs up tiny for travel, too. The Rainrunner is rugged but with a sleek silhouette so you can wear it anywhere.

We’re not going to suggest that you need this sherpa-fleece poncho, but at 70% off it’s a flexible item that you’ll enjoy having waiting for you in the car when a hike turns chilly or rainy, or when you want to throw on something cozy after a challenging workout at home. (It also makes a thoughtful gift: We know teenagers who practically live in similar-style ones). This poncho, just $27, features a draw-cord hood and side buckles and comes in two colors.

These waterproof sneakers come golf pro-recommended in our guide to the best gifts for golfers. Plush midsoles and sockliners deliver on comfort, while multi-directional traction will keep you even on different terrain. Right now you can score this stylish, supportive pair for as little as $60 depending on which color you choose.

Work on your short game at home with this practice putting mat. This model lets the golfer putt to a hole that’s normal-sized or increase the challenge by aiming for a smaller hole. Right now, the accessory (which also makes a great gift) is 20% off on Amazon.

Now’s your chance to score this portable launch monitor for the lowest price ever, since it’s 30% off right for Cyber Monday. It gives all kinds of data—tracking carry distance, club head speed, ball speed, smash factor, vertical launch angle, spin, apex height and flight time. Shop now while it’s $150 off.

Don’t let the brand’s bold colors and whimsical patterns fool you—this is fully functional golf attire, with built-in sun protection, four-way stretch and an anti-odor, moisture-wicking fabric. Plus, this shirt is 40% off right now, so you may even want to add a few different colors to your wardrobe.
